Economic Responsibility

  • Will vote to remove restrictions on free speech placed on religious institutions (Johnson Amendment of 1954 to IRS Code)
  • Will vote against any measure deeming religious speech “hate speech”
  • Will protect the right of individuals and communities to display religious symbols during the holidays
  • Will stand up against attempts to infringe upon religious practices (contraception issue)
  • Education Reform

  • In favor of dismantling the Department of Education
  • In favor of removing unfunded and partially funded mandates
